My beloved Vikings fans… you deserve everything in life and more. I may be biased, but I do believe we are one of the nicest fan bases around. Every time I’m at The Bank I’m hit with a lively, welcoming crowd— nothin’ but friendly banter and a bit of teasing towards fans of the opposing (loser) team. Our SKOL chant has got to be one of the best traditions, too. It’s fierce, deafening, and gives me chills every time that drum hits. And let’s not forget we are home to some of the greatest players in the league! (Shoutout to the Hitman who will bless us with his presence again this year). Which brings me to my next point: where in the hell is our superbowl win? I mean, we DESERVE it, do we not? DO. WE. NOT???
…But I digress. If you haven’t seen my 3 Rules for Fan Caves, go read that quick then come back, k? Let’s get into it!
Alright, so let’s talk colors. Your fan cave doesn’t need to shout— let it whisper. Wear your bright purple jersey and your gold horns, but for the love of god, just let your walls be eggplant. Okay? In honor of the Vikings dope new rivalry jerseys, I went with a deep purple-y gray on the walls.

As you can see, I did not just make us a Vikings fan cave, I made us a mother-effin SKOL house. And that’s mostly ‘cause I went a little off the rails. Surprisingly, a modern barndominium came out of the wood works with this design. Honestly, I like it. But also, I think I might do a few different renderings for us in future. I want to do us justice, you know, get it right. I was feeling more pressure on this one. Does it live up to its potential? Let me know!
